The Minnesota Association of Songwriters is a volunteer, member supported, nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the songwriting skills of its members through seminars, workshops, music critiques, and showcases. Mississippi

Missouri

Songwriters Circle Of Kansas City. Songwriters Circle Of Kansas City. Contact David Hakan, Founder at 816-363-1917, e-mail: DavidHakan@aol.com, or to 8646 Chestnut Circle, #2, Kansas City, MO 64131. This is an artist coop of performing singer/songwriters who perform using a unique "campfire" style similar to "in the round" performances. The Circle, founded in 1992, also puts out a song challenge once a month to keep the group writing. The Circle also hosts an annual song contest at the Heartland Folks Fest.This group, which meets twice per month, strives to support and assist original songwriting and songwriters in the greater Kansas City area. Monthly meetings include songwriting lessons, guest speakers and song critiques. NSAI songwriters perform their original music in a "Songwriters In The Round" monthly show produced by Donna Opfer at the Off Broadway nightclub. Montana
